Five documents that must be in place

Death certificate
From the German registry office where the death occurred.

Corpse passport
From the responsible authority. No flight without it.

Medical certificate
Confirming that there was no infectious disease.

Sealed zinc coffin
Required for air transport.

Formalities of the destination country, which differ from country to country.
We usually organise the repatriation within 24 hours. Depending on the destination country, official requirements and necessary documents, the actual duration may vary. Most of the time goes into the paperwork, not the flight.
